The 14 built-in programs are: slow cook, rice, multigrain, porridge, meat/stew, bean/chili, soup, saute', steam, poultry, keep-warm, yogurt, jiu niang and pasteurize. Basically, you put your food in the stainless steel pot, close the lid, close the vent (if pressure cooking) and push the button that is already time preset. It is amazing to me how versatile one device can be.
